MI vs CSK: Dwayne wins a last ball thriller for Mumbai

Mumbai Indians needed 14 runs in the last 3 balls and it was looking impossible for MI to win but one man stood between win and Chennai Super Kings, Dwayne Smith. It was his IPL debut of this season and it was a nail biting one.

A six and 2 fours in the last three balls by Smith did it for Mumbai Indians. In the 49th IPL match played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, former won the match by 2 wickets.

Loosing the toss CSK were put in to bat first and Murali Vijay (41), Dwayne Bravo (40) helped amass a defendable total of 173 runs on board. R.P. Singh and Malinga took 3 wickets each from MI side.

During the chase Sachin Tendulkar played a gem of an innings scoring 74 runs and making a stand of 126 runs with Rohit Sharma who made 60 himself. But after their dismissal it was looking like they were going to loose. But Smith brought them back from dead and scored 24 runs in 9 balls. He was awarded man of the match award for is splendid innings.
