Arushi case adjourned, next hearing on May 9

The trial of Arushi and domestic servant Hemraj case not started today as Nupur lawyer told the court that they have not got provided the complete documents. Session court fixed the next date as 9 May for the next hearing.

It is noted that the case was to be transferred to session court from the Magistrate court after the Nupur's bail plea was rejected last day. But her lawyer said that they have not furnished the complete set of document from the session court regarding the case and requested for the next day. The court then fixed May 9 for the next hearing.

Meanwhile Nupur legal team had approached to the Supreme Court for bail claiming that the co accused Rajesh Talwar is on bail and so should be bail granted for the Nupur.

CBI is opposing her bail plea saying that her past conduct is not good as she had surrendered before the Ghaziabad court only after directed by the Apex court. CBI has said that her release could affect the enquiry and evidence.

It is noted that Nupur Talwar is the co accused of double murder case of her daughter Arushi and domestic help Hemraj.
