An Indian Engineer missing in Saudi Arabia, Wife appeals govt. to find him

Fasih Mehmood, an engineer in Aljuberi city of Saudi Arabia was picked up by Saudi officials under the alleged charges of being linked to Indian Mujhaideen. Officials then said that he was deported back to India on 13th May but he never reached.

His wife (Nikhat) says that a phone call did came on May 20 by his husband saying pray that all charges are false, all they have given me is a Quran and a prayer mat. Fasih has been missing for 2 weeks now.

Nikhat was in her Saudi house when Saudi Officials came and took laptop and mobile while locking her in a room. She came back to India being helpless and now is taking rounds of Saudi Embassy for any news.

Fasih used to work in Aeram Engineering Company. His father Dr Firoz Ahmad wants that external ministry must put pressure on the company, as it was duty-bound to trace its missing employee. Even his passport is with the company as they have the policy to keep the passport of foreign employees.
