Courtney Love apologizes to daughter

In order to placate her daughter Frances Bean Cobain, Singer Courtney Love has apologized to her as she was angry over singer?s claim that Kurt Cobain's former bandmate Dave Grohl hit Bean.

"Bean, sorry I believed the gossip. Mommy loves you," she wrote on twitter on Sunday.

"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy," Frances said while commenting on her mother's earlier accusations.

"The claims were offensive and absolutely untrue," people.com has quoted Grohl as saying.

Frances is engaged to Rambles frontman Isaiah Silva.
