Veena Malik signs a British Film
London, Feb 7: Pakistani actress and model Veena Malik who also participated in Bigg Boss Season 4 in India has said, that she was going to play a "powerful" role in a British film and she has been signed for it.
"I am getting many offers across the globe. Recently, a UK film team was in Dubai and I was short-listing a few offers that would suit me. I have zeroed in on a few fashion projects and a film," the actress said to a newspaper. However, she denied revealing more at the moment.
Veena Malik who is known for courting controversy, with the latest being her co-actress accusing Malik of deliberately assaulting her in a fight scene for 'Mumbai 125 Kilometres'.
Malik faced an array of criticism last year when her apparently nude photos were published on the Indian edition of FHM magazine. She also had the letters ISI printed on her arm, representing Pakistan's powerful intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence.
Her nude pictures caused a hullabaloo in Malik's native country and she reportedly received death threats. Her father announced to disown his daughter.
Although the FHM magazine said that the pictures were original, the actress claimed that they had airbrushed off the thong she was wearing when the pictures were taken.
