Washington, Dec. 26 (ANI): American online media streaming service, Netflix Inc. has said it has fully restored its video-streaming service after a Christmas Eve outage that hit many of its customers in the America.
A Netflix Inc. spokesman said by email on Tuesday morning that the service has been fully restored.
The outage affected customers in the Americas starting at around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Fox news reports.
The company, which is based in Los Gatos, California, blamed problems with Amazon Web Services, and said that it was investigating further.
Amazon Web Services provides companies with online storage and computing. It is separate from Seattle-based Amazon.com Inc.'s better-known shopping website, the report said.
In a post on its Twitter account, Netflix gave special thanks to its awesome members for being patient.
It added that they were back to normal streaming levels, and hoped that everyone has a great holiday, the report added. (ANI)
