Sulur (Coimbatore), Dec 18 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee will present the Presidential Standard to 25 and 33 Squadrons of the Indian Air Force (IAF) at a function here on Tuesday.
25 Squadron 'The Himalayan Eagles' has been the lifeline of the armed forces personnel and citizens in the Northern Frontiers for over five decades, in times of peace as well as war. 33 Squadron is premier Transport squadron of the Indian Air Force.
President Mukherjee, who is presently on a three-day visit to Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, will tomorrow attend the felicitation function at Suri Vidyasagar College, Suri, Birbhum and inaugurate the Centenary Celebrations of award of Nobel Prize to Rabindranath Tagore at Santiniketan. (ANI)
