Kolkata, Dec 17 (IANS) McNally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd (MBE) is searching possible technology partners in port, pump and material handling equipment businesses, company chairman said Monday.
"We are searching for technologies in verticals such as port, pump and material handling equipment. We would like to tie up with firms for those technologies," Deepak Khaitan said here.
MBE, a Williamson Magor group company, has been engaged in providing turnkey solutions in the areas of power, steel, aluminium, material handing, and mineral beneficiation, among others.
The firm, which posted a turnover of about Rs.2,000 crore last fiscal, is eyeing 10 percent growth in revenue this fiscal.
"We will be focusing on construction works in infrastructure projects, industrial constructions, metro railways and oil refinery," Khaitan said.
The company, which has recently forayed into construction of cement plants, bagged a Rs.733 crore order last week for from ACC for setting up a 9,000 tonnes per day (tpd) brown field facility at the cement manufacturer's existing plant at Jamul, Chhattisgarh.
He said the firm has no plan for acquisitions as it would be on a "consolidation mode" till 2015.
Exports to overseas markets, including South Africa and Indonesia, would be the thrust area, he added.
