Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences which is the first dental hospital in the country to receive the prestigious NABH accreditation is hosting "Delhi Smiles" dental health utsav from 11th-15th December, 2012 with lots of gusto, gaiety and color to create awareness regarding oral health.
The 4th day began with a Free Dental Checkup which is drawing big crowds and also spreading awareness about oral health among people from 9:00 am to 3:00pm and as an incentive toothbrush and toothpaste were being given to all. It provided another tool for the general public to know about dental care and doctors on brushing techniques and other oral hygiene aids gave emphasis.
The day would have been incomplete without the guest lecture by Dr. Jitender Nagpal, who is a renowned psychiatrist with special focus on child, adolescents and Females' problems and currently a senior consultant at Moolchand General Hospital.
On the occasion, "Amrapali", a musical was the pick of the day, in which students and doctors dramatized the love story of AMRAPALI and AJATASHATRU. Everyone enjoyed the musical ballet an also praised the actors of the play for such a splendid performance.
