Sydney, Dec 14(ANI): One of the stands at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is being turned into the Coca-Cola Beach for the remaining one-day international matches at the historic ground.
The doyen of cricket commentary, Richie Benaud, was at Bondi Beach on Thursday to promote a new pop up beach at the cricket this year.
"The cricket and the beach, two of Australia's greatest pastimes and favourite activities together at last," News.com.au quoted Benaud, as saying.
Built over a week, the beach stand will take 70 tonnes of sand to complete, and fans have the chance to win a spot at the beach by entering a competition on specially marked bottles of Coke. (ANI)
