New Delhi, Dec 8 (IANS) A 17-year-old class twelve student committed suicide by hanging herself from ceiling fan at her residence in the capital, police said Saturday.
"Kiran was staying at her house in Sagarpura area of west Delhi. Her body was found by a neighbour, who informed the police Friday night," said a senior police officer.
Kiran's parent had gone to attend a marriage in Uttar Pradesh's Azamgarh district.
The reason of the extreme step is yet to be ascertained, the officer added.
