New Delhi, Dec.7 (ANI): Pakistan Senate Chairman Nayyar Hussain Bukhari called on President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi on Friday along with his delegation.
The Pakistan delegation received a warm welcome by Mukherjee at his presidential palace.
Earlier in the day, Bukhari held bilateral talks with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The delegation led by Bukhari included representatives from Pakistan's religious minorities also, who would witness the lawmaking process in India as part of their comprehensive itinerary.
The Pakistani delegation will meet Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari.
Bukhari and his delegation had arrived on the invitation of Kumar and Ansari.
The visit is the latest, in a series of bilateral exchanges that have seen visits to India by leaders such as Pakistan National Assembly Speaker Fehmida Mirza.
Meira Kumar had visited Pakistan in February and November 2012. (ANI)
