Kolkata, Dec 7 (IANS) England were 509/6 at the close of the third day's play against India in the third cricket Test match at the Eden Gardens here Friday.
Resuming the day at 216/1, England piled on more runs with skipper Alastair Cook scoring a splendid 190 before he was run out by Virat Kohli. Jonathan Trott made 87.
Left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha has taken three wickets having given away 140 runs in 50 overs.
