Standing Committee of Inter-State Council reconstituted

New Delhi, Dec 6 (ANI): The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has approved the reconstitution of the Standing Committee of the Inter-Sate Council under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.

Agriculture and Food Processing Industries Minister Sharad Pawar, Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister M. Veerappa Moily, Railways Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal, Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers M.K. Alagiri and Union Law Minister Ashwani Kumar are members of the Standing Committee of the Inter-State Council.

Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav are also Members of the Standing Committee of the Inter-State Council.
