Saran (Bihar), Dec.4 (ANI): Maoists on Tuesday destroyed a construction site and set many vehicles on fire in Saran district, a rebel-infested area in Bihar.
The rebels instructed labourers to escape from the site of Madhucon agency for a few hours and threatened them of dire consequences, if they were not follow their instructions.
Kayum Ansari, a villager, said that at least 25-30 Maoists attacked the construction site and asked them to escape from there.
"We were sleeping in a room, they came and woke us up and told us to escape. We went far and we returned after two hours, when they had already left. No one attacked us. We were just told to run away," he said.
The villagers are still reeling under the fear of this incident. The police have not disclosed any details till now. (ANI)
