The 10th edition of BioAsia 2013, which is going to be held from January 20-30 next year, will be hosted by Hyderabad this time. BioAsia is an annual conference in the field of biotechnology and life sciences.
As a trend of keeping a theme for the conference, this year’s theme is ‘Biologics and Biosimilars’ and the conference will be focussed on discussing on topics like drug discovery, monoclonal antibodies, regenerative medicine, intellectual property rights and financial eco-system.
During the same period an event focusing on agricultural biotechnology and food technology with the support of International Crops Research Institute for the Semi Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) will also be held parallely.
The government of Andhra Pradesh will host the event BioAsia 2013 with the support of the Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA) and Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil).
According to a statement by the organisers, interested candidates, institutions, academia and companies register their name for participation in the event by logging on to www.2013.bioasia.in.
"Over the last decade BioAsia has successfully established itself as a platform that has added significant momentum to the growth of biotechnology arena," said Shakthi Nagappan, CEO, BioAsia.
