London, Nov 22 (ANI): Sarah Jessica Parker, who is best known for playing Carrie Bradshaw - famed for her skyscraper heels in 'Sex And The City, insists that she can't be fashionable all the times because she's looking after her three kids.
"It's not an identity that I connect to," the Sun quoted Parker as saying.
"I'm grateful if anyone says anything kind and if they say something less kind I take that as a part of anyone talking about you at all. It's not how I think of myself and think it's probably the healthier approach," she said.
However, the Golden Globe Award winner also asserted that she loves being given the red-carpet treatment.
"I love beautiful things and I'm privileged to borrow a beautiful dress. I feel like fashion has a proper place in my life," she said.
"It's just not a reality. Not when you have three kids and you go to the market and there are hungry people at home. There's just no time to let vanity enter into that," she added. (ANI)
