Jharkhand Police on Tuesday succeeded in arresting a Maoist commander after the police sized a tip-off and a pistol and live cartridges from the commander, police said.
"Pawan Gope, a member of PLFI has been arrested from Doranda near Ranchi," Senior Superintendent of Police Saket Kumar Singh told reporters here.
In Jharkhnad, 18 of the 24 districts are highly affected from the Maoist activities.
