Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Nov.18 (ANI): A five-year old white tigress in Bilaspur's Kanan Pendari Zoo has died from severe dehydration.
The tigress was brought from Delhi Zoo and had given up eating food for several days.
Attempts were made to feed the animal forcibly, but her condition continued to deteriorate.
Forest ranger A S Nath said the tigress was in a critical state of health despite being given treatment.
The tigress was cremated inside the zoo premises. (ANI)
