Johannesburg, Nov 16(ANI): South African fast bowler Rory Kleinveldt is hopeful of bowling better in the second Test match against Australia in Adelaide after going wicket less in his debut Test at Brisbane.
"I wish I could have done a little bit better, but that's how it went, so I've just got to pick myself up and prepare well for the next Test match, and hopefully that will go better," Sports24 quoted Kleinveldt, as saying.
Kleinveldt was told he would play in the first Test the night before the game, as the South Africans believed the pitch in Brisbane would offer the fast men something with which they could work.
"We thought there was going to be a bit of pace and bounce in the Gabba wicket. It looked a little bit green the day before. We thought the wicket was going to (move the ball) around and four seamers would be the way to go," he added.
The second Test between South Africa and Australia starts in Adelaide on November 22. (ANI)
