London, Nov. 14 (ANI): Italian striker Mario Balotelli has been advised by his national team coach Cesare Prandelli to keep in mind that playing football for Manchester City should be his top most priority.
The 22-year-old forward was dropped from the City squad for their Sunday's 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur and is expected to return to action for Italy in a friendly against France on Wednesday.
"He's a unique footballer, with a unique personality, based on what he does in his daily life" the Telegraph quoted Prandelli as saying.
"But he must not forget that, above all, he is an athlete. It's important that a footballer is talked about for what he does on the pitch.
"Mario is a bit upset about being left out by Mancini, who I know only did it for technical reasons. But he shouldn't take it to heart, Mancini just thinks others are in better form, he said. (ANI)
