Agartala, Nov 13 (IANS) A Bangladeshi team Tuesday met Tripura's rural development minister to know how the Indian state successfully implemented various schemes for the development of tribals and rural population.
The 11-member team is led by Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Deputy Secretary A.S.M. Shahen Reza. It arrived here Monday and will inspect various projects, schemes, administrative process and community involvement in the affairs of Tripura's tribal development.
Tripura's Rural Development Minister Jitendra Chowdhury said: "Besides tribal development, the Bangladeshis would also study the success in rural development in Tripura."
