New Delhi, Nov 12 (IANS) The Delhi Traffic Police came out Monday with a traffic advisory for the India International Trade Fair at the Pragati Maidan here commencing Nov 14, an official said.
"The India International Trade Fair 2012 at Pragati Maidan from Nov 14 to 27 attracts about a lakh visitors every day. Because of the trade fair rush, traffic congestion is expected at Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg, Ring Road, Shershah Road and Purana Qila Road. People not connected to the trade fair may take alternative routes to avoid congestion," said Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Satyendra Garg.
Delhi Traffic Police will not allow any vehicle to halt or park at Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg, Sher Shah Road and Purana Qila Road.
"Improperly parked vehicles will be towed away with fines of Rs.600 apart from towing charges," said Garg.
