Clear skies on Diwali Tuesday

New Delhi, Nov 12 (IANS) It was a warm and clear day in the capital Monday with the maximum temperature settling two notches above average at 30.3 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast clear skies on Diwali Tuesday.

The day's minimum temperature was a notch above average at 14.1 degrees Celsius while the humidity levels wavered between a high of 93 and a low of 42 percent.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a light misty morning will give way to a clear sunny day on Diwali Tuesday.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 30 and 14 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Sunday's maximum temperature was two notches above average at 30.7 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at the season's average of 14 degrees Celsius.
