London, November 12 (ANI): Leona Lewis says that "deplorable people" have betrayed her trust over the years.
The 27-year-old singer, who shot to fame in 2006 after winning the UK edition of 'The X Factor', has admitted that it took her a while to learn who to trust.
"I've met some deplorable people over the past six years who have done some really bad things and I've seen their betrayal of my trust unfold before my eyes," Lewis told the Independent.
"It was hell but I've learnt from it and I'm much better at knowing who I should avoid," she added. (ANI)
