Social activist Anna Hazare on Saturday announced that he along with his supporters would start a national campaign against corruption from Jan 30 next year, the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
"Today (Saturday) there was a meeting among 13 old members of our group for over five hours. Soon there will be a national campaign against corruption. I will start a nationwide tour from Jan 30, 2013," Anna Hazare told reporters after the meeting with his supporters on Saturday.
"It is a misinformation that the team has ended. We have formed a 13-member team which will take forward the movement," Hazare added.
Anna also announced to inaugurate his new office at Sarvodaya Enclave in south Delhi Sunday.
"We need to unite the country against corruption, we need a revolution to change the system," he said.
Hazare along with his close aides including Kiran Bedi, N. Santosh Hegde and Medha Patkar were here for a meeting on Saturday.
"This movement is back. This movement won't stop until our investigating agencies become independent and non-participant," Bedi said.
Earlier, on Sep 19 Hazare declared his "separation" from his former team and from his key associate Arvind Kejriwal on the conflicting issue of forming a political party in order to fight corruption and directed that his photographs or name should not be used for political campaigning.
