Mumbai, Nov.9 (ANI): Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan stole the hearts of audiences with his humour and magnetic presence, as he arrived with his leading ladies Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma for a music show to promote his upcoming romantic film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' in Mumbai on Thursday.

The heartthrob humoured the audience by cracking jokes and appeared to be media-friendly as well.

He tickled the funny bone of the audience, by narrating incidents that took place on the sets of the film.

"When we were on outdoor shoots, Kaif would strum the guitar and you have no idea about their talent, both play dumb charades really well. They are fantastic at dumb charades and playing the guitar. Hopefully on the show tonight, both of them will at least do have half of it, either be dumb or play the guitar, either play the guitar or dumb charades," said Khan.

Both the actresses looked resplendent and happily posed for the shutterbugs.

Khan and the other beauties told the media about their favourite songs and their memories attached to it.

Shahrukh said that the song 'Challa' is especially close to his heart, even though some people have said that the singer Rabbi Shergill playing as Khan's voice for the song does not go well with his personality.

"I think one of the special parts, apart from being a Punjabi Sufi kind of song, the actor has dedicated it to his lover or the Almighty. Rabbi has sung the song. I think he has not done much of playback singing and I really like him as a musician and singer. So, it was very interesting, inspite of some people thinking that our voices do not match," he said.

Khan teams up with Katrina Kaif for the first time, while he is paired with Anushka Sharma for the second time.

'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' was Yash Chopra's last movie and there is a lot of buzz around it.

Chopra, one of India's best known film-makers died in October. His family is going ahead with the film's release, saying the director would have wanted it that way.

The film is all set to hit the silver screen across the globe on November 13, which coincides with Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights.

Traditionally, Diwali is Bollywood's most important movie-going season but 2012 has already seen a billion-rupee haul at the box office for six films.

Ticket prices are expected to be rise by 10 to 15 percent next week, both for multiplexes and single-screen cinemas.

The music of the film is composed by Oscar winner music director A R Rahman and the lyrics are written by renowned Bollywood lyricists Gulzar. (ANI)
