New Delhi, Nov 8 (IANS) The weather in the national capital was relatively clear Thursday after several days of smog. However, the Met Office has forecast a foggy Friday morning.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said clear days were likely to continue but the smog might return Nov 11.
The maximum temperature in the city was recorded a notch below average at 29.3 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature settled at 14.3 degrees - normal for this time of the season - and humidity wavered between 96 and 38 percent.
"Friday morning will be foggy but the sky will clear up in the day," said an IMD official.
The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 28 and 14 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Following concerns expressed by the Supreme Court over smog-ridden Delhi, the government had Wednesday blamed pollution emanating from vehicles in neighbouring states for the smog in the city.
