New Delhi, Nov 1 (IANS) A 29-year-old cycle-rickshaw puller killed his wife here on the suspicion that she had extramarital affairs, police said Thursday. The accused has been arrested.
Devender killed his wife Phoolwati, 26, Wednesday night in Holambikalan area in north Delhi, police said.
"The accused was arrested from his house today (Thursday) morning," said a police officer.
After a heated argument at their house, Devender beat his wife with a stone causing her death, said the officer.
The victim's body bore several injury marks, he said.
