Chandigarh , Sun, 28 Oct 2012 ANI

Chandigarh, Oct.28 (ANI): Sisters of Haryana's former assistant advocate general Anuradha Bali alias Fiza have reportedly filed a civil suit in the district courts of Mohali, staking their claim to the former's assets, including her property.

Aditi Arya, Monika Sharma and Anjali Ramsoondur filed the case in the district courts in which they sought the release of Fiza's moveable and immoveable assets.

Fiza committed suicide about two months ago at her Mohali residence. She was the estranged second wife of former state deputy chief minister Chander Mohan, the eldest son of former chief minister Bhajan Lal.

She has left behind a house in Mohali's Sector 48-C, estimated to be worth around Rs two crore, besides cash and jewellery worth about Rs.3 crore. She had not left behind any will, and her sisters claimed that they were the legal heirs.

The case will be heard by Civil Judge, Senior Division, Mohali, Varun Nagpal, on December 10. (ANI)
