Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Oct. 28 (ANI): London Olympics bronze medal winning shooter Gagan Narang will flag off the second Formula One Indian Grand Prix here on Sunday.
Earlier reports said that Sports Minister Ajay Maken was the first choice to flag off the race.
The Jaypee Group, the organisers of the event, later said that Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan had been chosen to flag off the race after Maken cried off from doing so in anticipation of Sunday's reshuffle of the Union Cabinet.
Finally, it was confirmed late on Saturday that Narang, who clinched a bronze in the 10m air rifle event at the Olympics, would do the honours at the Buddh International Circuit. (ANI)
