Sydney, Oct 19(ANI): Cycling Australia (CA) vice-president Stephen Hodge has resigned from his post after he confessed of doping during his cycling days, in another shock in the wake of the Lance Armstrong scandal.
Hodge, who raced in Europe for almost 10 years and has held more than a few high-ranking positions in Australian cycling since retiring, said he taken performance-enhancing drugs, and sent his resignation in a letter to Cycling Australia.
Hodge is the second Australian casualty stemming from the US Anti-Doping Agency report into Armstrong's alleged cheating, News.com.au reports.
Matt White, CA's national coordinator and Olympic selector had earlier resigned this week. (ANI)
