New Delhi, Oct 15 (ANI): The eighteenth session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGC-TEC) will be held here on Monday.
The IRIGC-TEC will be co-chaired by External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.
The IRIGC-TEC is the apex forum for bilateral economic cooperation between India and the Russian Federation. It is a vital pillar of the special and privileged partnership between India and Russia.
It includes a wide spectrum of representatives from various Ministries and agencies and integrates inputs from six Working Groups: economic and trade cooperation; energy and energy efficiency; tourism and culture; science and technology; information technology; and modernization and industrial cooperation.
Rogozin will also have restricted talks with the External Affairs Minister during his visit and call on Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, besides co-chairing the India-Russia Forum on Trade and Investments with Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma. (ANI)
