Shooting in Mumbai difficult: Ken Ghosh (Movie Snippets)

New Delhi, Oct 13 (IANS) Bollywood director Ken Ghosh says despite being the country's entertainment capital, Mumbai is a tough place to shoot in.

"Why is Mumbai (which is the film capital of India) such a difficult place to shoot in? The red tape that a producer faces is ridiculous," tweeted Ghosh.

He has earlier directed movies like "Ishq Vishk", "Fida" and "Chance Pe Dance".

Bollywood celebs attend Watch World awards

Neha Dhupia, Prateik, Zoa Morani and Sagarika Ghatge added Bollywood glamour to the Watch World Awards held in Gurgaon Friday night. Comedian-actor Vir Das also added spark to the event with a stand-up comedy act.

The third edition of the event was organised by Watch World magazine from the Chitralekha Group.

Watch makers were awarded across 11 categories in the Product Awards section and five categories in the Marketing and Merchandising Awards category.

The event was also attended by officials from various brands like Cartier, Harry Winston, Zenith, Hublot, Bulgari, TAG Heuer, Dior, Seiko, Citizen, Titan and Timex,

saw stiff competition, but Harry Winston emerged the winners by bagging the Watch of the Year commendation.

Aeshra Patel's English woes

Model-actress Aeshra Patel was in tears upon seeing "English Vinglish" as she could relate to Sridevi's character's struggle with the English language.

Aeshra came to Mumbai from a small village situated on the outskirts of Vadodara, and faced tough times in Mumbai as she couldn't speak fluent English. She studied in a Gujarati medium school.

She came to Mumbai with dreams in her eyes like lot of aspirants, and featured in advertisements. But her English woes often posed problems, said a source.

When she saw "English Vinglish", she could exactly relate to the character played by Sridevi, and now desires to meet the Sridevi in person to compliment her on the performance.
