92.7 BIG FM and Total Oil India Pvt. Ltd together have started a new campaign "Total Quartz Safety Month" to spread awareness and promote safe driving habits among public.
The campaign was launched in by 92.7 BIG FM's RJ Vidhi with Mr. Jaigosh Diwedi from NGO SOS Care India and Shweta Gulati at BIG FM Studios. Traffic Authorities, NGO SOS Care India and many celebrities have extended support to this cause.
The campaign will have four phases: Phase I - Safe Driving; Phase II - Don't Talk While Driving; Phase III - Don't Drink and Drive; Phase IV -Total Quartz Safety Run, which will see the participation of the people of the city.
92.7 BIG FM spokesperson said, "This campaign is a unique initiative that aims at encouraging Indians to take a pledge to drive safely. We are sure that our commitment towards this cause will work collectively towards the welfare of the community at large."
B. Vijay Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of Total Oil India Pvt. Ltd. said, "We consider people safety and health protection of paramount importance while carrying out its in business activities complex and diverse environments. It is an important program designed to promote safe driving habits thereby reducing accidents and saving precious lives."
World Health Organization has predicted that road accidents will become India's third biggest killer by 2020. This campaign is spread across 21 cities of the country, promoting safe driving habits amongst the public.
