New Delhi, Oct 10 (IANS) Designer Malini Ramani who is known for her East meets West-inspired designs believes fashion never fades and every trend keeps coming back.

"I would advice that one should never say never to any kind of fashion. I believe every trend comes back," Ramani told reporters after her show at the ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Tuesday.

"So just enjoy it and keep in mind not to throw away any of your your animal prints, bell bottoms or anything. They will definitely again make a style statement in the coming time," she added.

Showcased on the fourth day of WIFW, her collection titled "warriors of the rainbow" started with a message from mother earth and a beautiful pattern was created with on the stage with lights of different colours.

She brought together a fusion of craft, patterns and colours from across the globe to present the style of the future in her garments.

The collection had khaftans, shirt dresses, swimwear, jumpsuits, and lounge wear that infused block prints from India, bead work from Africa, motifs from Mexico, all brought into an integration of the new spirit of universalism.

She used fabrics like chiffon, lycra, georgette and silk.

As a designer, her philosophy is simple. She only creates clothes she would love to wear herself. She likes working with vibrant colours, plunging necklines, and believes in adding dollops of glamour to her creations.

With a price range of Rs.3000 to Rs. 24,000, Ramani added: "My collection is for someone, who embraces her culture, likes to be feminine, sexy and is fun loving. It has a lot of colour, it is not for the ones, who just go out in a simple black dress."
