Kanpur, Sept 30 (ANI): Police resorted to baton charge as residents here protested over death of a man crushed by a speeding bus on Sunday.
A local vegetable seller named Hanuman was crushed by a speeding bus in the market area of Babupurwa locality of the city.
Raising slogans, a large number of traders gathered in the market area and blocked the road.
The Police tried to pacify the protestors and assured of a probe into the incident, however as the traders refused to relent, police resorted to baton charge.
