Kochi, Sep 3 (IANS) The hunt for final contestants of beauty pageant Miss Kerala 2012 has begun with three beauties getting selected and 19 more in queue to walk the ramp here Sep 21.
The auditions for the contest were organised in Hyderabad (Sep 1) and Ahmedabad (Sep 2) and now will be held in Mumbai (Sep 5), Bangalore (Sep 7) and here (Sep 9).
Girls of Malayalee origin (at least one parent) between the age group 18-24, with a minimum height of 5ft 2in can participate in the contest.
The final 22 contestants will be groomed for a week by an expert panel before they enter the final round for the Miss Kerala crown.
"In the 12 years of this contest, more than 3,000 ladies with various backgrounds from across the globe have vied for a place in the finals," said Harish Babu, managing director of organiser Impresario Event Management India Ltd.
