New Delhi, Aug 25 (ANI): Waterlogging followed by a brief spell of torrential downpour and thunderstorm brought the city to a standstill on Saturday.
Commuters faced major traffic snarls as several vehicles broke down while attempting to wade through inundated roads.
The rains also lead to dipping of the city's temperature, much to respite of locals who experienced a deficit monsoon season and scorching summer until last month.
So far a total of 307.8 mm of rain has been recorded here in the second lap of monsoons that began in the last week of June. (ANI)
