London, august 24 (ANI): Two 10ft tall silver statues of David Beckham, in his underwear, outside the H and M store at London's Regent Street are seeing shoppers gather around to pay homage to the effigy, and posing for photographs.
The two statues are the first to land in the UK after nine had been placed at various locations around the United States over the past few weeks.
They come as part of Beckham's latest range of underwear launch for H and M, that were first revealed in a set of black and white photographs shot by LA-based photographer Alasdair McLellan.
"I am so excited about this new campaign for David Beckham Bodywear at H and M," the Daily Mail had quoted Beckham as saying.
"I wanted to express the strength and quality of the David Beckham Bodywear collection with these images, and also the wearability and fit.
"I love the range, and feel so comfortable in each of the pieces. As soon as the collection was launched, it became second nature for me to wear it!" he added.
A further seven Beckham statues are in the UK - but no news has been released as yet as to where they might be installed. (ANI)
