New York, August 21 (ANI): About 92 percent New Yorkers, will pay for their iced tea, even if no one is watching them, a survey has revealed.
That's what the Coca-Cola company discovered, when it set up several unmanned stands across the city and asked people to put a dollar in a plastic box and help themselves to a bottle of Honest Tea.
The result of the social experiment into whether honor systems work was that 92 percent of the time people paid for their drinks.
"A dollar isn't going to hurt anyone," the New York Daily News quoted a resident, as saying.
"I don't just want to take a bottle and leave," the paper quoted another, as saying.(ANI)
