Melbourne, August 19 (ANI): Mel B has hit back at claims that her band Spice Girls made diva demands at the London Olympics closing ceremony.
According to sources, the Scary Spice wanted a personal stylist on her beck and call, and wanted her family and friends to get special treatment at the event.
When asked to specify the Spice Girls' backstage needs, she said: "It was us five girls and we all had hair and make-up in the dressing room. That was it."
She also dismissed reports that Victoria Beckham, looking sour-faced and distant during their performance, didn't want to perform with the superstar girl group.
"If she didn't want to be there, she wouldn't be there," News.com.au quoted her as saying.
"Nobody forced anybody to do anything. To some, it doesn't sound good enough to say: 'They're happy and they're best friends,'" she said.
Brown's scene-stealing catsuit had been designed by Zuhair Murad, costumer to Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera.
"It was fancy, outrageous and sexy. I had to do 25 very specific measurements because the actual outfit is see-through mesh and all the gold bits are stitched on.
"If the measurements were wrong, things would be showing that were not meant to be showing," she said.
Brown also revealed how rehearsals resembled a cr?che. She said, "We were changing diapers in between learning dance routines, feeding baby food between vocal sessions. All five of us brought our kids to rehearsal, so they all got to bond." (ANI)
