Mumbai, Aug 15 (IANS) As a college student, Sonakshi Sinha wanted to sing songs and take part in a music reality show, but couldn't fulfil her dream.
"When 'Indian Idol' started for the first time, I was in college. I was very much interested to go for 'Indian Idol' and sing songs. Unfortunately, I remained as a bathroom singer," Sonakshi said here.
The 25-year-old realised half her wish at least when she visited the sets of the show's sixth season recently to promote her forthcoming film "Joker".
"I am delighted that I've come for this show. I've got an amazing opportunity to meet the fantastic singers and hear their songs," she said.
Sonakshi will be seen in a forthcoming episode of the show.

'Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!' - Madhuri asks Salman again
Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit recreated the magic of their hit film "Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!" on the sets of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5" recently. They even enacted the famous scene from the song "Didi tera dewar".
Salman used a catapult to aim at Madhuri's derriere just the way they did in the 1994 film, and the duo even danced together to a few other numbers, said a source from the sets.
While Madhuri is among the judges on the dance reality show, Salman came to shoot for a special episode with his "Ek Tha Tiger" co-star Katrina Kaif.
Salman even shook a leg with Katrina to her hit item number "Sheila ki jawaani".
The former off-screen couple will be a part of the show's forthcoming episodes, to be aired Saturday and Sunday.

Item songs are for promotion: Sneha Khanwalkar
Item numbers have become a staple in most Bollywood films, but composer Sneha Khanwalkar, who has given the industry some unique tunes with "Gangs Of Wasseypur", says they are merely for promotion purposes.
She doesn't find anything wrong with item songs.
"Item songs are promotional songs. If it can tease, attract and seduce the listeners to watch the film, then why not," she said.
Some of Khanwalkar's recent hits include "Womaniya" and "Hunter".
