Washington, August 14 (ANI): Hilary Duff, who made it big with Disney's tween show 'Lizzie Maguire', is thrilled to be returning to TV after signing a development deal with 20th Century Fox.
The actress had taken some time out of her career recently to focus on her marriage to Mike Comrie and their five-month-old son Luca.
"Ok it's official! Very excited about my development deal with 20th century fox!! t.v. here I come! :) (sic)," she tweeted.
According to Deadline, the generous deal states that the studio must develop a half-hour episodic sitcom for the new mum but if it falls through Fox can cast her in another comedy or drama series, Contactmusic reported.
It was a double celebration for Hilary, who enjoyed a weekend getaway with Mike and Luca for her wedding anniversary.
"On a weekend getaway for our anniversary (sic)," she posted. (ANI)
