New Delhi, Aug.12 (ANI): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, who is demanding immediate steps to bring back black money, enact a tough Lokpal Bill and give independent status to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), has warned the government that he might march to Parliament on Monday and is ready to 'court arrest.'

Earlier on Sunday, he warned Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that if his demands for enactment of a strong Lokpal and measures to end corruption were not met, the country could face a "big revolution".

"We have set deadline for the Prime Minister. He must act on our demands by today evening. If the Prime Minister doesn't take steps by the evening, we will announce a bigger revolution. The agitation will continue till our demands are met," he said. Baba Ramdev also took a jibe at the ruling Congress Party, saying the government has earned a bad image because of its own style of functioning.

"We don't want to malign government. It has earned bad image because of itself. The Congress can't blame us for not giving notice. The Congress uses an honest Prime Minister as a shield," said Baba Ramdev.

"The party that has ruled the country for the longest is responsible for graft. We have given enough time to the government to act on our demands," he added.

Baba Ramdev claimed a new revolution has begun from the Ram Lila ground.

"We will decide the strategy for the fast tomorrow. All parties, who want to fight graft, should join us by tomorrow. We welcome parties that want to fight corruption. We urge those to join us, who are against graft," he told his supporters here.

Baba Ramdev further said the decision to end fast would be announced tomorrow morning.

Baba Ramdev had earlier on Saturday said that he had decided on his plans for the next phase of his agitation, but did not specify whether his fast would be extended.

He said the agitation would move in a "new direction" on Sunday with the youth joining his movement.

Baba Ramdev"s announcement came after long meetings with his close aides during the day at the protest venue.

The second round of Ramdev's protest has witnessed an expansion of his agenda from black money to Lokpal Bill, making CBI independent and a more transparent procedure for appointing Election Commissioners, CAG, CVC and Director CBI.

Baba Ramdev's last outing at the Ram Lila ground in June last year, saw a midnight police crackdown with authorities claiming that he violated norms agreed upon.

He was caught by police while trying to flee from the protesting venue in a woman"s attire. (ANI)
