London, Aug. 12 (ANI): Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt has offered to share his skills with Manchester United players, after he stormed to his third gold at the London Olympics.
Bolt, who has been declared the fastest man on the planet after winning the 4x400 metre relay for Jamaica, is reportedly desperate to help train United stars such as Nani, Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia to stop Manchester City from winning the Premier League title again.
However, he is uncertain whether United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will give him a trial or not.
"I don't know if Alex Ferguson will offer me a trial or not. But even if it doesn't happen I would like to come and help coach the attacking players at United like I did with Ronaldo, anything I can do to make sure the title does not end up with Manchester City again," The Sun quoted Bolt, as saying.
Bolt, who is currently the world record holder in both the 100 metres and 200 metres, claimed that he had trained Ronaldo in 2009, and the latter had gone on to score 40 goals in a season. Therefore, he said he would be glad to do the same for the Red Devils.
"Since I taught Ronaldo in 2009 he has gone on to score 40 goals a season, I don't think he would have scored them all without my training," he said.
"United have so many players with pace that if they all perfect their sprinting technique it will be impossible to play against them. Any time Alex Ferguson asks me I am happy to come and do what I did with Ronaldo, they are my team," he added. (ANI)
