London, August 10 (ANI): R and B queen Diana Ross has vowed to take care of Michael Jackson's kids, if the family is rocked by any new scandals.
The 68-year-old singer told the pop legend's mum Katherine that she would look after Prince, Paris and Blanket, if she were no longer able to cope.
Her offer came after Katherine, 82, lost the guardianship of the kids when she went missing for 10 days last month.
The Motown legend also told Paris, 14, she would be her fairy godmother if the teen needed her help during the family skirmishes.
The former member of the girl band 'The Supremes' also had an emotional 90-minute talk with Paris last week before Katherine was reinstated as their co-guardian with Jackson's nephew TJ.
Their get-together came on the advice of an LA judge, who needed her agreement to allow Katherine back into the fold.
In his will, Jackson had named her as a back-up guardian for his children.
According to sources, she gave Paris "the longest of hugs" during their meeting.
"Diana felt it was time to meet Katherine and the children face to face," the Mirror quoted family friend Stacy Brown as saying.
"When she left, she let it be known that if this thing blows up publicly again, she'll be back.
"Diana gave Paris her phone number and said 'Use it, no matter what. Use it,'" she added.
Jackson and Ross were close and in the late 1980s were understood to have dated. (ANI)
