Washington, August 4 (ANI): All the buzz surrounding Kristen Stewart's major role in 'Lie Down in Darkness,' was laid down to rest, after it was revealed that casting for the flick has not been decided as yet.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 22-year-old actress had landed a major role in the film.
"While its exciting to see all the interest the project is generating, the film is still in the pre-production process and no offers to cast have been made as of yet," CBS News quoted a source close to the film's production company as telling ET.
The movie is also in search of a male lead, and Oscar winner Colin Firth was at one point said to have been attached to the project.
Described as a Dickensian and Dostoyevsky-like heavy drama, the film will be an adaptation of a 1951 William Styron novel of the same name that charts the rise of a southern family.
'Lie Down in Darkness' is not financed and has no start date at this stage. (ANI)
