London, Aug 2 (ANI): Cheryl Cole tweeted a flirty message of support to Olympic diver Tom Daley.
The singer - who is 11 years his senior - reached out to the 18-year-old sportsman via the micro blogging site, and even asked him for swimming lessons.
Daley gained a rather special famous fan in the form of Cole, as a result of his efforts, which saw him finish fourth alongside diving partner Pete Waterfield.
The 18-year-old received a tweet from Cole saying: "I think you are amazing! Will you teach me how to swan dive?"
Daley retweeted her, replying: "Of course!!! But first you need to follow me ;)"
The popstar didn't reply to Daley's tweet, but of course if she followed him back, the pair could have moved on to private messaging. (ANI)
