Women will be allowed to travel free in DTC buses on Raksha Bandhan Day

New Delhi, Aug.1 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today stated that women would be able to travel free in DTC buses on Thursday, Raksha Bandhan Day.

The decision has been taken to ensure that women reach the places of their brothers easily.

Transport Minister Arvinder Singh said women would be allowed free rides in all DTC ordinary buses and green low-floor buses till 5 p.m. on Thursday. (ANI)
